The DFID Plant Sciences Research Programme has commissioned a significant number of project impact assessments - both external and internal.

The programme's impacts shows that they are diverse, very large and increasing. They are improving the livelihoods of many low-resource farmers in developing countries. In, for example, India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Ghana tens of thousands of poor farmers are adopting and benefiting from programme technologies.
