Dave is the deputy manager of the PSP. He is a senior research fellow at
the Centre for Arid Zone Studies with specialist interest in problems related
to crop establishment in marginal environments.

Clare is a crop physiologist by training and joined the PSP team in November
2002. Clare's main responsibilities are editing and production of programme

Julie is a personal assistant to the programme manager and is responsible
for the administrative work associated with the day-to-day running of the
