BACKGROUND TO THE PSP

The Plant Sciences Research Programme (PSP) is managed by the Centre for Arid Zone Studies (CAZS) of the University of Wales, Bangor.

The PSP is one of 10 research programmes funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID).

These programmes implement DFID's Renewable Natural Resources (RNR) Research Strategy,which has the common goal of improving the livelihoods of poor people through sustainable enhancement of the production and productivity of Renewable Natural Resources (RNR) systems.
