IMPACT ASSESSMENT

The PSP programme has been able to commission, or carry out in-house, several impact assessments that were first reported in the 2002 Annual Report and compiled in the publication: DFID Plant Sciences Research Programme Highlights & Impact (2004).

Impact assessments are ongoing and include a range of studies:

•   Analysis of field survey data to estimate impact at the farmer-field level;
•   Analysis of the wider institutional impacts of PSP research and,
•   Ex ante assessment of the potential impact of PSP research
